About the author

Planes in Micro Flight can have several weapons attached, the weapons can be powered or unpowered, guided or unguided, and simulate a wide variety of real weapons.

Although Micro Flight is not designed to be a military flight simulator, weapons were added to make the program more fun to use and to enable military planes to be simulated as well.

To select a weapon press W or joystick button 2.

The selected weapon will be indicated on the HUD, and if another plane is in field of view a lock on indicator will be seen around it.

When the HUD is turned off the weapon will not be locked on any target, but it can still be fired.

To fire a weapon press Backspace or joystick button 1, after the weapon is fired weapon selection is cleared.

If the weapon is unlocked, it will fly in a straight path like a rocket.

After the weapon hits a plane it will break it and cause it to crash, some types of ground objects will explode and disappear when hit by a weapon.
